Overview
Urban Portraits continues to be one of our most popular portraits training days. This 1 day street portraits workshop by Damien Lovegrove will teach photographers how to make the most of natural light, with the introduction of one off-camera flash.
You will learn new technical shooting skills and you will receive hands-on instruction and an excellent grounding in how you and your camera can achieve amazing results. You will learn how to see and use light - even in the darkest areas on the dullest days. Damien will show you how to take photographs that look as if you're in the Mediterranean on a hot summer's day:)
You will also gain an understanding as to how to interact with a model and generate a creative flow. Damien will teach you how to 'see' pictures where you may think none exist. This event is a down to earth creative session that will push you beyond your usual photographic comfort zone.
This workshop is suitable for photographers of all levels and we recommend that you familiarize yourself with using your own camera and learn how to change settings quickly before attending the day. This will enable you to make the most of your training experience.
If you are keen to improve your consistency and develop a better understanding as to what works and what doesn't then Urban Portraits is the perfect place to start.
To improve the experience for our customers we keep the number of workshop attendees to a small number. From a wealth of positive feedback we know this works and this is reflected in the number of repeat customers who choose a Lovegrove photography training workshop.
What you will take away with you
1. Whatever the weather we will be producing portfolio images that you can use right away, on your website, in brochures or on your studio walls. The models we use are published professionals and will be patient with us.
2. You will have a new repertoire of images you can shoot and, above all, professional image making skills that have a high repeatable value. You will have the edge over your competition and (hopefully!) you will feel a renewed excitement for location shooting.

Cancellation Policy
As our costs for each workshop remain the same no matter how many delegates attend, please note that just like any pre-booked tickets for the theatre, concert, flights etc, we are unable to give any refund in the event of non-attendance, regardless of the circumstances. The exception to this is if we have prior notice and are able to put a cancellation place back online AND your place is resold. In this event we will of course make a full refund or credit to you. We also reserve the right to cancel any workshop if there is insufficient demand, especially if it means that our costs would be higher than our income.
