WordPress is a fully-customisable and easily manageable web software. This puts you in control of your site to alter and change content as and when necessary. No need to keep calling your 'web guy' all the time to make a simple alteration. The administration area is simple and quick to learn with the ability to add functionality to your site as your business grows. Over 60 million people use WordPress to power the place on the web they call “home”.

All design projects will be split into three stages.
• Stage 1 - Brief outlining and initial concepts
• Stage 2 - The design work
• Stage 3 - Feedback and finishing touches
Stage 1 will involve going through your requirements and laying out a specific brief for the project. In order to do this we'll need a basic outline of what you're wanting to achieve. Information on your visual tastes are also extremely helpful, so it's best to have some examples of what you like and more importantly what you don't like. With a brief in place, we'll give you an approximate estimate of the time it will take for the project together with an estimate of costs.
Luke will then come up with some initial concepts, and after feedback, revisions, updates, new concepts etc, you'll have an agreed design proof.
Stage 2 is the actual design stage. This will involve turning the 'design proof' concept into a fully realised and finished design. Depending on the size of the project, this may also involve further discussion and collaboration.
Stage 3 is the chance for you to tweak, finesse and fine tune the design to be just right.
We will ask for your approval at every stage, before we progress to next one. Once the final design is completed an invoice will be sent for payment of the service. For website designs, you may like to pay for the project in installments after each stage is completed.
If for whatever reason you decide to stop the design project partway through, payment of the hours spent at the last approved stage will be chargeable, plus 50% of any additional hours into the last stage. ie. If you've agreed stage 1 which took 3 hours, plus an additional 1 hour has been spent then the total cost payable is equivalent to 3 + 0.5 = 3.5 hours.

I was recently asked to produce a shiny new site for Lisa Keating, a talented local dress and corset designer. During an initial meeting with Lisa we planned out what her needs were and what functionality would be required for the new site. As well as needing a smart place to showcase her work, Lisa also wanted the ability to sell her bespoke design services online with a quick simple shopping cart.
The project then moved swiftly with Lisa emailing us styles of web design she liked and disliked along with scanned images of her design sketches.
Several design mockups and colour schemes were crafted utilising her design sketches and feedback was gathered. The designs were then fine tuned until a final design was agreed upon.
Next came the build stage. With a little help choosing a hosting plan, the WordPress substructure and database was installed. A completely customised theme was created to the agreed spec. Galleries were created, contact form coded, social media buttons added and an e-commerce plugin incorporated into the fold.
Within the administration area, was also installed a 'statistics' plugin for Lisa to keep an eye on her web traffic and referral sources. An advanced, but simple to use SEO plugin was also installed to help optimise key pages.
All of the design work was created in an isolated way that didn't disrupt the existing site that Lisa had. Once the site was ready for handover, we flipped the switch and made the new site 'live'.
Lisa is thrilled with the results and is receiving ongoing help adding new content and products.
